“Admire as much as you can. Most people don’t admire enough.”
Vincent Van Gogh to his brother Theo ~ January 1874

I have spent most of my life admiring the world around me. Years ago I put a camera in front of my eyes and since then I’ve been documenting the world that I live in, driven by a desire to share my vision with other people. This led me to my education at Webster University, gallery showings, and to my appearance in publications as diverse as Liberta, The Webster Journal, The Riverfront Times, Sauce, WHERE In St. Louis, The Missouri Botanical Garden’s Bulletin, AAA Magazine, and even an ad insert in the Midwest circulation of the New York Times. I have turned my camera on business leaders, artists, rock musicians, and even the president of Indonesia, and always with a sense of admiration.

Thank you for taking the time to browse my galleries. I hope that the images give you an inkling to the kind of passion, intensity, and zeal for storytelling that I unleash every time I click the shutter. Everyone has a story they need to tell…a message they want to get out.

What is your story? They say a picture is worth a thousand words.

Sincerely,

Erin Whitson
